Mexican artist Arturo Moreno attended the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico as an art student before moving to the US in the 1970s. There he raised his family and made his living in a different profession. His retirement allowed him to commit all his time and energy to developing his talent as an artist.

Moreno’s love of drawing began in early childhood and was nurtured by his teachers.  For most of his life, Moreno has focused on the beauty of the human form in drawings and paintings in ink, graphite, and oils. Today Arturo Moreno brings his own artistic sensibility to his colorful paintings and drawings, both abstract and figurative.

After 40 years living in New Jersey in the USA, Moreno now resides in Santa Rosa, California, where he is exuberantly exploring all mediums, including charcoal and ink drawings, ceramic sculpture, acrylic and watercolor painting, and photography.
